Role Description This is a part-time remote Designer role focused on supporting NexLevr’s creative and digital initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating visual assets for social media, websites, and campaigns, designing layouts and graphics that align with brand guidelines, and iterating on concepts based on feedback from the team.
The Designer will collaborate closely with other students and team members to brainstorm creative ideas, refine design concepts, and ensure a consistent visual identity across projects. The role also involves preparing files for digital delivery, staying updated on current design trends,
and contributing to a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong foundational design skills, including layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar applications).
- Ability to create digital assets for social media, web, and marketing materials with attention to detail and usability.
- Comfort working in a remote, collaborative environment, including giving and receiving constructive feedback.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to present design ideas clearly to non-design stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage part-time hours alongside academic or other commitments.
- Interest in current Gen Z culture, digital trends, and emerging platforms; prior portfolio or examples of work are highly beneficial.
- Formal design education or coursework is helpful but not required if equivalent skills and experience can be demonstrated.
