Position Overview The HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting Design Manager will lead and manage MEP design activities for hospital, commercial and large-scale building projects. The role involves design review, consultant coordination, technical approvals, design optimization and ensuring compliance with applicable standards. The position will work closely with Architects, Structural, Electrical, MEP Consultants and Project Execution teams to deliver coordinated, cost-effective and execution-ready designs within project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting design activities for hospital, commercial and large-scale building projects.
- Review HVAC load calculations, equipment selection, ducting, piping and ventilation designs.
- Review Plumbing systems including water supply, drainage, hot water and rainwater harvesting.
- Review Fire Fighting systems including hydrant, sprinkler, fire pumps, fire tanks and suppression systems.
- Coordinate with Architects, Structural,



Electrical, MEP Consultants and Project Execution teams.
- Review design drawings, BOQs, specifications, technical submittals and design calculations.
- Ensure designs comply with NBC, NFPA, IS, ASHRAE and applicable statutory requirements.
- Identify and resolve design clashes through effective coordination with BIM/MEP teams.
- Guide design consultants and internal teams to ensure timely and quality design deliverables.

• Drive design optimization, value engineering and technical solutions to support project execution.

Desired Candidate Profile Qualification: B.E / B.Tech Mechanical

Experience: 10 to 15 Years
