As part of our growing Design & Product Development team, we are looking for creative young designers who are passionate about textiles, colours, trends, and product innovation.

Role Overview We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Textile Designer to join our Design team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who are eager to build a career in home textile design and product development for international markets. Working closely with senior designers, product developers, and merchandising teams, you will contribute to the development of seasonal collections across Table Linen, Curtains, Cushions, Kitchen Linen, Bedding, and Decorative Home Textiles.

From trend research and concept creation to CAD development and sampling, you will gain end-to-end exposure to the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Trend Research & Concept Development - Research global fashion, lifestyle, retail, and home furnishing trends.

- Develop mood boards, colour palettes, and seasonal design concepts.
- Study customer preferences, market insights, and emerging design directions.
- Explore innovative materials, textures, finishes, and construction techniques.

Design

Development - Create original textile designs, prints, patterns, repeats, and surface developments.

- Prepare CADs, colourways, digital mock-ups, and presentation boards using Adobe Creative Suite.




- Develop artwork for multiple home textile categories, including:
- Table Linen
- Curtains
- Cushions
- Kitchen Linen
- Bedding
- Decorative Textiles
- Revise designs based on customer feedback and internal reviews.
- Ensure artwork is technically accurate and production-ready.

Product Development

Support - Work with the Product Development and Sampling teams during prototype development.

- Assist in selecting fabrics, trims, embellishments, and print techniques.
- Support sample evaluations and recommend design improvements.
- Maintain design consistency throughout the sampling and approval process. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, CAD, Sampling, and Production teams.
- Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and collection presentations.
- Maintain digital design libraries, seasonal archives, and artwork documentation.
- Support customer presentations by preparing professional visual assets. Commercial & Technical Learning Develop a strong understanding of how successful products are created by balancing: Desirability - Consumer insights

Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Surface Design, or a related discipline.





- 0–4 years of experience in Textile, Home Textile, Surface, or Fashion Design.
- Graduates from NID, NIFT, Pearl Academy, UID, Srishti, MIT Institute of Design, or equivalent institutions are preferred.
- Solid portfolio demonstrating creativity, colour sense, pattern development, and design thinking.
- Good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Understanding of textile repeats, colour ways, print development, fabric construction, and surface design.
- Knowledge of hand sketches, digital illustrations, and trend interpretation.
- Solid visual presentation and communication skills.
- Passion for home furnishings and international design trends.
- Eagerness to learn, adapt, and work in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills - Exposure to Scandinavian, European, and contemporary home décor aesthetics.

- Basic understanding of sustainable materials and responsible design practices.
