Role & responsibilities

- Design sheet metal parts, assemblies, cabinets, brackets, panels, and enclosures using CAD software.

- Create 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs.

- Apply sheet metal design principles including bend allowance, bend deduction, K-factor, reliefs, hems, and tolerances.

- Coordinate with production, fabrication, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability.

- Develop flat patterns and nesting data for manufacturing.

- Review customer specifications and convert them into detailed engineering designs.

- Support prototype development and resolve manufacturing-related design issues.

- Optimize designs for cost, weight, strength, and ease of fabrication.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Skills

- Experience in enclosure, kiosk, or Office Furniture Design

- Knowledge of sheet metal material selection (CRCA, SS, Aluminium, GI, etc.).

- Robust problem-solving and communication skills.
