We are seeking a talented and experienced Product Design Engineer with a background in mechanical engineering and proficiency in CAD software. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Creo Parametric and be skilled in both 3D modeling and 2D drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and design innovative mechanical products using Creo Parametric.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing and assembly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality.
- Perform tolerance analysis and ensure designs meet industry standards and specifications.
- Maintain and update design documentation and CAD libraries.
- Manage Engineering Change Management (ECM) processes to ensure timely and accurate implementation of design changes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in mechanical design.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Should have good communication skills.
Qualifications:
- B.E. in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering with 2-4 years of experience in product design and development.
- D.M.E with 3-5 years of experience in product design and development.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Creo Parametric for 3D modeling and 2D drawings.
- Robust understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in mechanical design.
- Understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management)/Windchill.
- Knowledge of Engineering Change Management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly.
