Role Description The Design Engineer – Control Panel is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The role involves designing and detailing electrical control panels, preparing layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and safety requirements.

The Design

Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to understand project specifications, select suitable components, and optimize panel design for performance, cost, and manufacturability. Day-to-day tasks include working with CAD tools, updating technical documentation,



supporting production teams during fabrication and assembly, and assisting in testing, troubleshooting, and design revisions. The role also includes coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of accurate design outputs.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Design Engineering and Product Design to create accurate, effective, and reliable control panel solutions.

Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills to develop detailed layouts, enclosures, and assembly drawings.

Candidates should possess Electrical Engineering skills to design circuits, select components, and ensure compliance with electrical safety and standards.

Relevant engineering degree or diploma (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) and prior experience in control panel or industrial automation design are beneficial.

Ability to interpret technical specifications, use design software, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.

Familiarity with industry standards, basic project management, and a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement will be an advantage.
