Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design and Estimation Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The position involves preparing detailed designs and drawings for solar and related civil engineering projects, including layout planning and technical specifications. The engineer will create and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), perform project cost estimations, and analyze material and labor requirements to support accurate budgeting.

Daily tasks include conducting site assessments and technical research, coordinating with project, procurement,



and sales teams, and providing technical inputs for proposals and tenders. The role also requires participation in vendor and client discussions, supporting negotiation on technical and cost aspects, and ensuring that designs comply with industry standards, safety norms, and company guidelines.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong BOQ and project estimation skills for solar and civil engineering projects.

Candidates should possess a solid foundation in civil engineering, including structural understanding and construction practices.

Candidates should possess research skills for technical analysis, market data gathering, and evaluation of materials and solutions.

Candidates should possess negotiation skills to support cost optimization and alignment with vendors, contractors, and clients.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; exposure to renewable energy or solar projects is preferred.

Proficiency in design and estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, project management tools) and good numerical aptitude.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Ability to work in office in Ahmedabad, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
