- ;Identify and develop suppliers for precision machined parts, injection molded parts, sheet metal, electronics, packaging and standard components.
- ;Evaluate supplier capability, capacity, and manufacturing infrastructure. infrastructure,
- ;Develop and maintain qualified supplier base.
- ;Conduct supplier qualification and technical audits.
- ;Assess supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems.
- ;Recommend supplier selection based on technical and quality requirements.
- ;Review engineering drawings, CAD models, and manufacturing feasibility with suppliers.
- ;Lead technical discussions with vendors on drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, tooling concepts, process capability, and manufacturing feasibility.
- ;Hands-on experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) for reviewing 3D models and engineering drawings..
- ;Participate in technical and commercial negotiations.
- ;Evaluate tooling investment.
- ;Perform cost analysis.
- ;Support Make vs Buy decisions.




- ;Identify cost reduction opportunities.
- ;Coordinate RFQ, prototype development, tooling, and sample submissions.
- ;Monitor supplier development activities to meet project timelines.
- ;Coordinate T0, T1 and Pilot Build activities.
- ;Coordinate FAI, PPAP, and process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- ;Review PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, and Capability Studies (Cp/Cpk).
- ;Support product transfer to manufacturing
- ;Maintain Vendor Development documentation.
- ;Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 Quality System.
- ;Maintain development records for Design History File (DHF).
