We are seeking a energetic and results-driven HR Business Partner to lead HR operations for our Pune branch office. This role heavily focuses on scaling our technical teams through aggressive talent acquisition while seamlessly executing corporate-driven engagement strategies locally. The ideal candidate will bridge corporate vision with branch operations, managing the full employee lifecycle, capability building, and local administration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)
- Drive the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle to scale technical, delivery, and support teams.
- Partner with technical hiring managers to forecast demands and map required tech skill sets.
- Source high-quality IT talent through direct sourcing, professional networks, and referrals.
- Manage candidate pipeline, conduct screening interviews, negotiate compensation, and roll out offers.
- Own the candidate onboarding journey to ensure high joiner-to-offer ratios.
2. Employee Engagement (Corporate Alignment)
- Adapt and execute employee engagement frameworks for the Pune branch.
- Maintain regular feedback channels aligned with corporate standards.
- Address local employee relations, grievances, and retention strategies within company policy guidelines.
3. Capability Building & Performance Management
- Partner with the L&D; team to identify skill gaps and execute training calendars.
- Support corporate Learning & Development (L&D;) programs and track employee completion rates.
- Facilitate the annual performance appraisal, goal setting and reviews
4. Local Compliances & Operations
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
- Oversee mandatory branch compliances, including Shop & Establishment acts and POSH guidelines.
- Manage local employee documentation, attendance records, and monthly payroll inputs.
5. Administration & Office Support
- Oversee daily facility management, workplace infrastructure, and general administration.
- Coordinate with local vendors for cafeteria, transport, security, and office supplies.
- Monitor and manage the Pune office administrative budget and operational expenses.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: MBA / PGDM degree specializing in Human Resources.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience preferably within the IT/Tech sector.
- Recruitment Expertise: Strong proven track record in sourcing and hiring complex IT roles.
- Compliance: Understanding of local Maharashtra employment laws and compliance norms.
- Work Style: High adaptability to work in a hybrid setup requiring 4 days of in-office presence.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
