Job Objective/Purpose:

Responsibility for DC engineering, including PV module layout, string design, DC cabling, and optimization to ensure maximum energy yield, safety, and cost efficiency.

Job Role:

It includes developing optimized plant layouts, defining design standards, leading a team of engineers and draftsmen, and ensuring seamless integration with AC systems and overall plant design.

Job Responsibility:

- DC System Design & Optimization & Optimize designs for maximum energy yield and minimal losses.
- Perform shading analysis, tilt/orientation optimization, and land utilization planning
- Conduct DC design calculations like voltage window and string sizing, cable sizing, voltage drop, and losses etc.
- Define DC design guidelines, best practices, and technical specifications
- Review and approve drawings such as layouts, SLDs, and cable routing plans
- Evaluate PV modules, DC cables, connectors, and combiner boxes.

Knowledge, Skills and Technology Platform:

- Robust expertise in solar PV DC system design
- Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst
- Knowledge of earthing, lightning protection, and safety systems

In-depth understanding of DC system losses and optimization techniques
