Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Database Architect with strong expertise in Oracle 11, SQL, and PL/SQL to analyze, reverse-engineer, and stabilize a large legacy enterprise application. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience understanding complex PL/SQL code, database objects, scheduler jobs, performance tuning, and production support while documenting technical architecture and business logic embedded within the database.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze Oracle 11 database objects including schemas, tables, indexes, views, materialized views, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, scheduler jobs, and database links.
- Reverse engineer legacy PL/SQL applications and document business logic, execution flows, and dependencies.
- Analyze application workflows involving PL/SQL packages, batch jobs, interfaces, logs, and transactional data.
- Identify and document business rules embedded within database code.
- Diagnose database performance issues using Explain Plan, AWR, ASH, SQL Trace, TKPROF, and performance tuning techniques.
- Analyze locking, deadlocks, indexing, partitioning, statistics, and query optimization.
- Support high-volume batch processing, scheduler jobs, and large transactional systems.
- Create technical documentation, dependency maps, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge transfer documents.
- Collaborate with developers, DBAs, support teams,



and business stakeholders to resolve production issues.
