About The Role As an Associate Technical Architect - Data at Quantiphi, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms on AWS. You will lead the technical aspects of enterprise data lake and lakehouse solutions, guiding the architecture from initial design through deployment and ongoing support.

This role requires a deep understanding of modern data engineering tools and AWS services, as well as the ability to mentor engineering teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. Your expertise will enable Quantiphi to deliver innovative data solutions that meet complex business needs while ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering, architecture, and implementation within enterprise environments.



Strong hands-on expertise in AWS data services, data modeling, and modern data platform architecture is essential.

Certifications such as AWS Solution Architect or AWS Data Engineer are preferred. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, leadership abilities, and effective communication to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. A background in distributed data processing, performance tuning, and cloud-native architecture will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

- Lead the end-to-end design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms on AWS, including Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Data Warehouse solutions.
- Provide technical leadership across project lifecycle stages—from solution architecture, technology selection, and development to deployment, optimization, and support.
- Design and develop scalable batch and streaming data pipelines utilizing AWS native services such as EMR, Glue, Athena, and Lambda.
- Implement Lakehouse architectures using Apache Iceberg, ensuring data consistency, performance, and scalability.
- Optimize data processing jobs, Spark/PySpark applications, and database queries for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data solutions.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams,



conduct code and architecture reviews, and promote best practices in data engineering.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance data platform capabilities and performance.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance standards are integrated into all data solutions, leveraging AWS security features and best practices.
- Design orchestration workflows using Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions to automate data pipelines and processes.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide technical support for deployed data solutions.
