Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Business Analyst with strong expertise in data analytics, data management, and Capital Markets/Wealth Management. The ideal candidate should act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams by gathering requirements, preparing functional documentation, validating data, and ensuring successful delivery of data-driven projects. The role is approximately 60% functional and 40% technical, requiring excellent communication and strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements while translating them into functional and technical specifications.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including BRD (Business Requirement Document), FSR (Functional Specification Document), STM (Source-to-Target Mapping), and RTM (Requirement Traceability Matrix).
- Work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and data engineers to support data warehouse and data lake initiatives.
- Perform data analysis, validation, and functional testing to ensure data accuracy and business requirements are met.
- Support onboarding of new source systems into existing Data Warehouse and Data Lake environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive successful project delivery.

Required Skills & Experience





- Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Data Business Analyst or Business Analyst.
- Mandatory domain experience in Capital Markets or Wealth Management.
- Candidates with Insurance domain experience and strong Data Warehousing exposure may also be considered.
- Strong hands-on experience in SQL for data analysis, validation, and writing complex queries.
- Good understanding of:
- Data Warehousing, Data Marts, and Data Lakes
- Data Modeling and Data Lineage
- Source-to-Target Mapping
- Incremental and Full Load processes
- Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)
- Fact and Dimension Tables
- Data Validation and Reconciliation

- Experience gathering requirements for Data Warehouse/Data Lake projects.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and requirement-gathering skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Azure Cloud.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Familiarity with Agile ceremonies and methodologies.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes and data ingestion concepts.

Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
