Job Title: Data Analyst (Trading Domain)

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Data Analyst with a basic understanding of financial markets and trading. The ideal candidate should be passionate about data analysis, have strong Excel and SQL skills, and be eager to work with trading data to generate actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, and analyse trading and financial datasets.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly trading performance reports.
- Monitor market trends and identify patterns in trading data.
- Create dashboards and visualisations using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Assist in analysing P&L;, trade execution, and risk metrics.
- Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with traders, analysts, and business teams to support decision-making.
- Automate repetitive reporting tasks using Python or SQL where applicable.

Required Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query preferred).
- Basic to intermediate SQL.
- Understanding of Python (Pandas, NumPy) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau.




- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Valuable communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Trading Knowledge

- Basic understanding of the stock market, F&O; (Futures & Options), commodities, or forex markets.
- Familiarity with trading terminology such as the following:
- Candlestick charts
- Order types (Market, limit, and Stop Loss)
- OHLC data
- Volume and Open Interest
- P&L; calculations
- Risk-Reward Ratio
- Technical Indicators (RSI, MACD, Moving Averages)
