Function HR Role (Position)CIRCLE HR MANAGER

The Circle HR Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resource functions like hiring, confirmation, transfer & promotion, payroll administration and organisation management for a particular region / circle having approximately 15-20 stores including the circle office. He / she will manage a team of approx 4-5 Area HR Managers. Will be responsible for implementation of effective training & development and employee engagement programs across his / her set of stores.

Will need to liaise with the corporate and circle operations team to ensure timely execution of various HR policies and programs. Must have sound knowledge of HR policies and should be fully well versed in all statutotry laws and regulations. Will need to liase with the government authorities effectively to ensure all statutory compliance requirements are adhered to for all DMart and 3P employees.

The role holder needs to ensure that all HR records & returns are maintained regularly and timely within expected timeframes. This position involves working collaboratively with senior management in the circle as well as corporate office and reports into Circle Head with a dotted line reporting to DGM - HR OPS.





Position Grade M1/M2

Who can apply The preferred candidate will be someone from HR / Ops / SCM with good knowledge of Statutory laws & regulations, procedures and HR policies & practices related to recruitment, transfers, payroll, exits, etc. He / She should presently be in grade S4, M1 or M2 and must have hands on experience of handling complex situations related to people management and HR. Exposure to SAP - HR will be preferred. Must be valuable with excel, word and power point.

Skills needed Good communication, planning, co-ordination and negotiation skills. Must have strong interpersonal skills since he/she is required to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. He / She should be able to train, guide and motivate the Area HRs under him / her.

Should possess good analytical skills and must have an eye for detail to ensure adherence to statutory compliance and policies within the circle, identify issues and recommend solutions for the same.
