About The Role The SAS AML Data Analyst / Tester role at Dautom offers an exciting opportunity to be involved in a critical migration project within the financial services domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting comprehensive testing activities during the migration of the SAS Anti-Money Laundering (AML) platform from SAS AML 7.1 to SAS Viya 4. This role requires meticulous attention to detail to ensure that all AML functionalities, detection rules, workflows, and system integrations operate seamlessly in the new environment.

The candidate will collaborate closely with business users, technical teams, and implementation partners to validate that the migrated system meets all regulatory and business requirements, ensuring operational integrity and compliance.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of experience in software testing, particularly within the banking or financial services sector. Hands-on experience testing SAS AML solutions is essential, along with familiarity with application migration or upgrade projects. A solid understanding of software testing methodologies, defect lifecycle management, and data validation processes is required.





Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

Experience with test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps and proficiency in SQL for data analysis will be advantageous. Knowledge of banking AML processes and regulatory compliance standards is highly desirable.

Responsibilities Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts tailored to the SAS AML migration project, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all functionalities.

Perform various testing types including functional, system integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT), supporting the validation process for the migrated AML system.

Validate that all AML scenarios, detection rules, workflows, and configurations are correctly implemented and functioning as expected within SAS Viya 4.

Verify that newly configured AML scenarios generate correct alerts, outputs, and case creation results, ensuring consistency with legacy systems.

Compare results between SAS AML 7.1 and SAS Viya 4 to confirm functional equivalence and identify discrepancies requiring resolution.

Execute end-to-end testing of AML processes such as data ingestion, scenario execution, alert generation, case management, and reporting functionalities.

Identify, document, and track defects, working collaboratively with technical teams and the implementation partner to facilitate timely resolution.





Perform data validation and reconciliation activities to maintain data integrity throughout the migration process.

Support business users during UAT by preparing test data, executing test scenarios, and resolving issues encountered during testing phases.

Re-test defect fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure stability and prevent regression of existing functionalities.

Prepare detailed test execution reports, defect summaries, and status updates for project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and traceability.

Ensure all testing activities adhere to Dautom's quality standards, testing frameworks, and project governance policies.
