- Diploma / B.Sc. in Radiology or Medical Imaging Technology
- Valid State Paramedical Council Registration (where applicable)
- CT Scan certification/training preferred
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in CT Scan and X-Ray imaging.
- Freshers with CT training may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT Scan and Digital X-Ray procedures as per physician's prescription and standard protocols.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Explain the procedure to patients and address their concerns before the investigation.
- Operate CT and X-Ray equipment efficiently and ensure optimum image quality.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and use appropriate protective measures for patients, attendants, and staff.
- Verify patient identity and examination details before conducting the procedure.
- Assist Radiologists during contrast studies and other specialized imaging procedures.
- Monitor patients during contrast administration and immediately report any adverse reactions.
- Ensure timely uploading and documentation of images in PACS/RIS/HMIS.
- Maintain cleanliness, functionality,
and preventive maintenance records of imaging equipment.
- Report equipment malfunctions promptly and coordinate with the biomedical engineering team.
- Maintain adequate stock of contrast media, films (if applicable), and consumables.
- Adhere to infection prevention and control practices.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with NABH and hospital quality standards.
- Participate in departmental quality initiatives, audits, training programs, and emergency response activities.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of CT and Digital X-Ray equipment operation
- Understanding of radiation protection and safety guidelines
- Good patient handling and communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with PACS/RIS/HMIS
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Teamwork and skilled ethics
Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts, including night duties, weekends, and public holidays as per hospital requirements.
- Willingness to respond during emergency and on-call situations.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
