At Kare Counselling, we’re growing our team and are looking for a compassionate, skilled, and evidence-based Counselling Psychologist to join us in Mumbai. ? Location: Girgaon Chowpatty, Mumbai
? Work Mode: Full-time, On-site (Monday–Saturday)
About the Role: You’ll work with adults and young adults, providing evidence-based psychotherapy while collaborating closely with a team that values ethical, culturally sensitive, and client-centred care.
Areas of Work
- Individual psychotherapy for adults and young adults
- Anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions
- Self-esteem, identity, and emotional regulation
- Trauma-informed and culturally sensitive therapy
- In-person counselling sessions
Requirements
- Internationally trained in Psychology/Counselling
- Minimum 4 years of post-qualification clinical experience
- Experience in Marriage & Family Therapy
- Solid clinical, ethical, and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous learning
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual therapy sessions
- Develop and implement personalised treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and ethical clinical documentation
- Collaborate with the Kare Counselling team on treatment approaches
- Participate in regular supervision and case discussions
- Refer clients to psychiatrists or other specialists when appropriate
