Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Costing & Proposal Engineer to prepare techno-commercial proposals, estimate manufacturing costs, and support the sales team with competitive quotations for CNC machine tools. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of machine tool design, manufacturing processes, costing methodologies, and commercial proposal preparation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed techno-commercial proposals for CNC machine tools.

- Review customer RFQs, specifications, drawings, and technical requirements.

- Estimate manufacturing costs based on BOM, bought-out components, fabrication, machining, assembly, electrical systems, and installation.

- Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase, Electrical, and Sales teams for technical inputs.





- Develop accurate cost sheets and pricing calculations.

- Prepare quotation documents, commercial offers, and technical compliance statements.

- Evaluate vendor quotations for bought-out items and integrate them into project costing.

- Analyze manufacturing feasibility and recommend cost optimization opportunities.

- Maintain costing databases, standard costing templates, and proposal documentation.

- Participate in technical discussions with customers whenever required.

- Support order handover to the execution team after project confirmation.
