:

Senior Manager is responsible for serving as the strategic interface with assigned business units for the purpose of business/IT strategy planning, development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.

Responsibilities :

- Maintains quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements.
- Provides leadership, organizational structure and resource management for multiple Engineering teams.
- Provide technical leadership and innovation across all aspects of technology development.
- Provide support and mentoring to technical team leads, including talent and succession planning.
- Lead and manage technical delivery resources.
- Establishes and organizes application development plans aligned with the goals / strategies of the business staffed with appropriately skilled technical resources.
- Plans work for subordinates, monitors performance, and conducts performance appraisals. Interviews and makes recommendations for additional staff. Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a protected, secure, and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
- Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Ensure project deliverables are accomplished on time and within budget.
- Communicates technical and operational issues to engineering and audit leadership in a timely manner.
- Ensure that technology solutions are fit-for-purpose and aligned with architectural principles, standards and roadmaps.
- Ensure that all technology standards are adhered to while developing systems.
- Support business required technology freeze periods.

Requirements :

- Masters or bachelors in engineering in IT/ Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Systems.
- 15 years of experience in IT development with a minimum of 5 years of experience in application design activities.
- Experience in implementing projects leveraging Java, Microservices and cloud implementations i.e AWS / Azure services.
- Min 5 years of exp in leading multiple Teams.
- Good technical experience in Java, Angular, DevOps and open-source projects.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Architecture.
- Should be able to work with Architects & TLs and provide input and guidance on best practices and architecture.
- Exposure to Agile / TDD / BDD based development.
- Organizational skills with ability to be flexible and work with minimal direction.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
- Troubleshoot bottlenecks and propose changes to fix them.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and Initiatives in parallel.
- Need to identify skillset gap and necessary Trainings for Teams.
- Lead the projects from inception till production rollout and support as well.
- Use AI tools such as Copilot, Claud Code etc; to accelerate delivery (ideation, coding, tests, documentation, research) while maintaining code quality, security, and correctness.
