Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cost Accountant role based in Gurugram.

The Cost

Accountant will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and monitoring cost records, cost sheets, and variance reports related to footwear manufacturing operations. Daily tasks include tracking production costs, reviewing inventory and overhead allocations, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, and supporting cost control initiatives across multiple units. The role involves preparing and reconciling journal entries,



contributing to monthly and annual financial statements, and working closely with finance, production, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost data.

The Cost

Accountant will also support management by providing analytical insights on profitability, cost efficiencies, and pricing decisions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Cost Accounting and Finance skills, with experience in manufacturing or product-based environments.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cost reports.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for cost variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and decision support.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting), reconciliations, and adherence to accounting standards.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CA Inter) are an advantage.
- Proficiency with ERP/accounting software and advanced Excel; attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in a quick-paced environment.
