Role & responsibilities :

- Drafting &
- Reviewing Contracts: Prepare, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including loan documents, commercial contracts, technology agreements, HR and administrative contracts, marketing agreements, and other business-related documentation.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all agreements and processes comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Update templates and processes periodically to reflect regulatory changes and business needs.

- Contract Lifecycle Management: Maintain a centralized contract repository, track renewals, amendments, addendums, and ensure timely execution of agreements.

- Risk Identification &

- Mitigation: Analyze business proposals and transactions to identify legal, regulatory, and reputational risks. Develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

- Legal Advisory: Provide legal opinions and guidance on business initiatives, strategic projects, and operational matters. Interpret laws, rules, and regulations relevant to the organizations activities.

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (business, operations, treasury,



marketing, HR, tech) and external counsel to achieve efficient and compliant outcomes.

- Policy &

- Process Management: Review and update legal policies and procedures, maintain compliance frameworks, and ensure adherence to internal governance standards.

- Documentation &

- Communication: Draft customer communication verbiage, legal notices, and other official documents as required.

- Support Strategic Initiatives: Participate in business planning and development initiatives, providing subject matter expertise on legal aspects.

Preferred candidate profile

- LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
- Strong experience in corporate legal, preferably in NBFC/financial services.
- Robust knowledge of contract law, regulatory compliance, and financial products.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under tight timelines.
- Familiarity with digital lending, tech contracts, and treasury documentation is an advantage.
