Role Description The Corporate Associate will work full time in office at the Mumbai office, supporting the corporate and commercial law practice. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial and corporate contracts, conducting legal research, and assisting in corporate transactions and regulatory compliance matters.

The role involves performing reviewing and finalising varied agreements including Joint Venture, SHA, Distributorship, Service Agreements, ITES agreements,



advising Joint Venture partners and proactively participating in structuring such proposed ventures etc.

The Corporate

Associate will also support transaction and assist in corporate governance and documentation, and contribute to client meetings and presentations. The position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to think out of the box.

Qualifications

- A law degree (LL.B. or equivalent) from a recognized institution; enrollment with the Bar Council of India is preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years PQE in a law Firm or in-house.
- Candidates should possess a robust understanding of Corporate Laws, especially company law, contract law, and regulatory frameworks.
- Candidates should possess hands on experience in drafting agreements and commercial transactions.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret complex legal and regulatory laws for entering India;

- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills;
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work under deadlines;
- Candidate should be preferably based in Mumbai.
