Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers at ParkTek Innovation is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing and supporting volunteer activities that advance community engagement and product awareness. Day-to-day tasks include recruiting volunteers, coordinating schedules, and providing onboarding and training to ensure volunteers are prepared for their roles.

The coordinator will manage communications with volunteers, share updates and resources, and maintain accurate records of participation and performance. This role also involves collaborating with internal teams to plan outreach initiatives, gathering feedback from volunteers and community partners, and helping improve volunteer programs over time.

Qualifications

- Robust volunteer management and volunteer training skills to coordinate, guide, and support diverse volunteer groups.




- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities to build positive relationships with volunteers and community stakeholders.
- Experience with community outreach and engagement, ideally in nonprofit, civic, or technology-focused initiatives.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with common digital tools (e.g., email platforms, spreadsheets, collaboration software); familiarity with CRM or volunteer management systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail in scheduling, recordkeeping, and reporting.
- Prior experience coordinating volunteers or community programs is preferred; relevant education in social sciences, communications, or related fields is beneficial.
