Project Mechatronics Engineer – Gantry Robotics (Contract)

We are looking for a Project-Based Mechatronics Engineer to join our engineering team for a short-term automation project. The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of mechanical design, automation systems, electronics integration, and motion control. The role requires a hands-on engineer who can work independently as well as collaborate with the team to develop reliable and efficient engineering solutions within the project timeline.

The selected candidate will be involved in the complete engineering process, including concept evaluation, mechanical design, component selection, system integration, assembly support, testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation. Candidates with experience in custom machine development, industrial automation, robotics, or special-purpose machines (SPM) will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop mechanical and mechatronic systems.
- Prepare 2D/3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings.
- Select suitable motors, actuators, linear motion components, bearings, sensors, and controllers.
- Integrate mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Support machine assembly,



testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM), component specifications, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors for component selection and procurement, if required.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining engineering quality standards.

Requirements:

- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Automation, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in machine design, automation, robotics, or mechatronics.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent CAD software.
- Good understanding of linear motion systems, stepper/servo motors, actuators, bearings, gearboxes, and sensors.
- Basic knowledge of PLC, Arduino, STM32, or similar control platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and deliver results within project deadlines.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
