Job Title: Continental Chef Department: Kitchen Operations Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and passionate Continental Chef to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing high-quality continental cuisine while ensuring consistency, hygiene, and excellent presentation. The chef will be responsible for maintaining food quality, minimizing wastage, and contributing to menu innovation.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook a wide range of continental dishes including pasta, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, grilled items, pizzas, salads, soups, sauces, and appetizers. Ensure consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation for every dish served. Maintain high standards of food quality and kitchen hygiene.

Follow standard recipes and food preparation guidelines. Perform mise en place and ensure all ingredients are prepared before service. Monitor food stock levels and inform management about inventory requirements.

Minimize food wastage and maintain proper storage of ingredients. Ensure compliance with food safety,



sanitation, and health regulations. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations. Assist in creating new recipes, seasonal specials, and menu improvements.

Coordinate effectively with the service and kitchen teams during operations. Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.

Required Skills &

Qualifications Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Continental Chef in a café, restaurant, or hotel. Strong knowledge of continental cuisine, cooking techniques, and food presentation. Hands-on experience in preparing pasta, steaks, grills, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, soups, sauces, and salads.

Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Positive communication and teamwork skills. Creative mindset with attention to detail.

Culinary diploma or certification is preferred but not mandatory.
