Role Description The Content Review Team Manager is a part-time remote role responsible for overseeing the quality, accuracy, and compliance of digital content across multiple platforms. This role involves supervising a team of content reviewers, setting review standards, and ensuring that metadata, assets, and rights information are correctly applied to music releases and related content.

The manager coordinates daily review workflows, assigns and monitors tasks, and provides guidance and feedback to team members to maintain consistency and efficiency. They collaborate with operations, rights management, and artist/label relations teams to resolve content issues, enforce platform policies, and support timely distribution.



The role also includes preparing regular reports on content review performance, identifying process improvements, and contributing to best practices in digital content governance.

Qualifications

- Experience leading or managing content review, moderation, or quality assurance teams in digital media or music distribution.
- Strong understanding of digital music platforms, metadata standards, content policies, and basic copyright and intellectual property concepts.
- Proficiency with online content management systems, spreadsheets, and analytics or reporting tools to track team performance and content status.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback, document processes, and collaborate across remote teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including prioritizing tasks, managing part-time schedules, and meeting deadlines in a quick-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented approach to reviewing content and metadata, with a commitment to accuracy, consistency, and policy compliance.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle escalations, investigate content issues, and propose process improvements.
- Previous experience in music distribution, digital rights management, content operations, or a related field is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (such as Media, Communications, Music Business, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment, using collaboration tools and adhering to inclusive, non-discriminatory workplace practices.
