Role Description The Content Development Manager is a part-time remote role responsible for planning, creating, and maintaining educational and promotional content that supports artists, labels, and partners of The SM Records. Day-to-day tasks include designing training materials, guides, and resources that explain digital distribution, rights management, and content monetization processes in a explicit and engaging way.

The role involves collaborating with internal teams to identify content needs, managing content development projects from concept to delivery,



and aligning materials with brand standards and strategic objectives.

The Content Development

Manager will also organize and update documentation, support virtual training sessions, and use feedback and performance data to continuously improve learning and support resources.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Content Development, including creating guides, tutorials, presentations, and learning materials tailored to creative and technical audiences.
- Experience with Instructional Design methodologies to structure content for effective learning, knowledge retention, and user engagement.
- Project Management skills to plan, prioritize, and deliver multiple content initiatives on schedule in a remote environment.
- Training experience in developing and facilitating virtual workshops, onboarding materials, or educational programs for users or clients.
- Familiarity with the digital music ecosystem, including streaming platforms, content monetization, and rights management, is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage part-time hours effectively, and adapt to evolving business and industry needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in content or learning development.
