Key Responsibilities

- Volunteer Strategy, Recruitment & Onboarding
- Develop and implement the organization’s volunteer engagement strategy aligned with program and organizational goals.
- Lead recruitment and onboarding of volunteers across community, youth, institutional, and corporate segments.
- Build a diverse and inclusive volunteer pool with relevant skills, experience, and geographic representation.
- Design structured onboarding, orientation, and induction processes to ensure volunteers are effectively integrated into programmes.
- Create and maintain volunteer databases, engagement trackers, and deployment plans.
- Corporate & Professional Volunteer Engagement
- Build and manage engagement opportunities for corporate employees and skilled/professional volunteers.
- Collaborate with CSR teams, companies, and professional networks to create meaningful volunteering avenues aligned with organizational priorities.
- Design short-term and long-term volunteering models including mentoring, training support, employee engagement drives, project-based volunteering, and pro-bono support.
- Ensure a positive volunteer experience through effective coordination, communication, and relationship management.
- Volunteer Engagement, Learning & Development
- Develop systems to strengthen volunteer motivation, ownership, and long-term engagement.
- Organize volunteer training sessions, capacity-building workshops, orientation programmes, and learning opportunities.
- Build communication channels to regularly engage volunteers through updates, stories, impact reports, and recognition initiatives.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and mission alignment among volunteers and partners.
- Retention, Recognition & Stewardship
- Develop volunteer retention and stewardship strategies to build a stable and committed volunteer community.




- Lead volunteer appreciation and recognition initiatives including certifications, awards, milestone acknowledgements, and engagement events.
- Monitor volunteer feedback and satisfaction to continuously improve the volunteer experience.
- Address volunteer concerns, resolve operational challenges, and ensure sustained engagement.
- Partnerships & External Engagement
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with corporates, educational institutions, nonprofits, community groups, and other stakeholders.
- Build collaborations that strengthen programme implementation, outreach, resource mobilization, and visibility.
- Represent the organization in external forums, partnership meetings, and engagement platforms.
- Support development of partnership proposals, engagement plans, reports, and presentations.
- Programme Coordination & Operational Support
- Coordinate volunteer deployment across programmes and ensure alignment with organizational needs and timelines.
- Work closely with programme teams to identify volunteer requirements and support implementation priorities.
- Ensure adherence to volunteer policies, safeguarding protocols, and operational processes.
- Track volunteer contributions, engagement metrics, and programme impact through periodic reporting and documentation.
- Monitoring, Reporting & Impact Tracking
- Monitor key volunteer and partnership indicators including recruitment, engagement, retention, participation, and contribution levels.
- Develop periodic reports, dashboards, case studies,



and success stories showcasing volunteer and partnership impact.
- Track operational efficiencies, volunteer contribution hours, outreach outcomes, and engagement effectiveness.
- Use data and feedback to strengthen volunteer management systems and partnerships.

Candidate Specifications

Educational Qualification

Graduate / Post Graduate / MBA with 5+ years of experience in volunteering or social sector.

Years of Experience The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 to 7 years of recruitment experience, out of which minimum 3 years of experience in the social sector is preferred.

- Robust interpersonal, networking and collaboration skills.
- Effective time management skills with prior success at executing projects in a timely manner and achieving results on schedule.
- Effective at developing ideas and strategies during strategic planning meetings.
- Ability to quickly build relationships and influence others without authority.

Other Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer and technology skills with familiarity in using computer and web-based applications (Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel, online portals for MIS).

Job Specifications
- Nature of Job: Consultant (1 Year Contract)
- Location: KEF HO – Chembur, Mumbai.
- Hours of Work: 8 hours per day, 6 days in a week.

Working Conditions
- 1.5 days leaves per month from the date of joining.
- 02 Saturdays off every month apart from the Sunday fixed weekly off.
- 12 Annual holidays (January – December).
