We are looking for a qualified and experienced Consultant (Veterinary) to support livestock and animal husbandry-related programs. The candidate will provide technical guidance, monitor field activities, and coordinate with government departments, stakeholders, and field teams to ensure successful implementation of project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for livestock and animal health programs.
- Coordinate with government departments, veterinarians, and field staff.
- Conduct field visits to monitor project implementation.
- Support animal health awareness, vaccination, and disease prevention activities.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and progress updates.
- Collect and analyze field data related to livestock development.
- Ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
- Assist in training and capacity-building programs for field teams and beneficiaries.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) (Mandatory)
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in:
- Central/State Government Ministries or Departments
- Non-Profit Organizations (NGOs)
- Corporate Organizations
Required Skills
- Robust knowledge of animal health and livestock management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Report writing and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel for field visits.
Preferred Candidate
