I JOB DETAILS Job Title Consultant Reporting Supervisor HOD- Gastroenterology II JOB PURPOSE Under supervision to provide ensure direct or indirect accurate medical attention to all patients III KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Core Responsibilities Specialized physician sees and treats patients who suffer from any gastrointestinal issues Doctors specialize in this field so they are qualified to diagnose and treat any disorders diseases or irregularities that pertain to the digestive tract Primary care physicians usually refer patients to gastroenterologists Gastroenterologists must be experts in their field as patients come to them for proper diagnosis and relief from the problems that are plaguing their health Doctors they may perform any number of tests on patients including blood work colonoscopies and endoscopies They must be adept at performing these tests and reading the results so that they can convey to patients what their problems may be To be well groomed punctual and adhere to company policies and practices To have complete orientation of QMS and EMS system of Hospital To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Programme DMP of the hospital To Comply with the service quality Process environmental occupational issues policies of the respective area To Comply with patient safety policy To ensure protected utilization of equipments and proper waste disposal IV KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Measurable Deliverables Timely installation commissioning and taking over of building utilities equipments and hospital projects Cost of maintenance -within 4 of capital cost or as agreed on an annual basis Maintenance of equipments with minimum downtime-98 uptime or as agreed Cost of utilities within agreed budgeting cost 100 statutory compliance V JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Qualifications DM Gastroenterology Experience Preferably with 2-4 or more years of experience Behavioural Skills Man-management skills Problem solving and decision making skills Ability to handle multiple priorities Planning and organizing Creative and innovative Technical Skills Negotiation skills Analytical skills Good domain knowledge Process orientation Language Skills English Hindi Punjabi VI KEY INTERACTIONS Key Internal Contacts Key External Contacts Patients Attendants Medical Superintendent Nursing Staff Medical Records Physicians
