We’re Hiring: Community & Events Manager StartupNews.fyi is looking for an energetic Community & Events Manager who can build strong founder communities, organise impactful startup events, and help us grow our network across India.

Location: Central Delhi

Work Mode: Full time, in-office

Working Days: 6 days a week

Timings: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM

Experience: 1–2 years

Salary: ₹3.5–4.5 lakh per annum Key Responsibilities:

- Plan, organise, and execute startup events, founder meetups, networking sessions, workshops, and community initiatives
- Manage StartupNews.fyi’s online and offline communities across WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other platforms
- Grow community membership, engagement, participation, and retention
- Build relationships with founders, investors, startup professionals, speakers, partners, and ecosystem leaders
- Coordinate with venues, sponsors, speakers, vendors, and event partners
- Handle event registrations, attendee communication, guest lists, schedules, and on-ground execution
- Create engagement campaigns, polls, discussions, announcements, and community content
- Identify partnership and collaboration opportunities
- Track event and community performance, feedback, attendance,



and growth metrics
- Support sponsorship outreach, event promotions, and community-led business opportunities
- Represent StartupNews.fyi professionally at events and ecosystem gatherings Who We’re Looking For:
- 2 years of experience in community management, event management, partnerships, startup ecosystems, or a related role
- Strong communication, networking, coordination, and people-management skills
- Ability to independently manage events from planning to execution
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Strong understanding of LinkedIn, WhatsApp communities, social media, and event promotion
- Willingness to work from our Central Delhi office six days a week
- Prior experience working with startups, media companies, founder communities, or event organisations will be preferred This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, creating memorable events, and growing communities at scale.
