Job Title: Commissioning Manager [Data Center Projects]

Job Location: Mumbai

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Candidate will report to the Regional Commissioning Manager Lead. The primary responsibility for the candidate would be to oversee and manage commissioning program in various data center construction projects. Candidate would be responsible for the managing the Commissioning process from site selection process for vendor onboarding, organizing commissioning workshops, technical due diligence design review, developing commissioning strategy and plan, attending factory & site acceptance testing,



technical issues resolution, commissioning close out and turn over process.

The Candidate will create and /or maintain best safety, quality, testing and commissioning practices and update the Cx Process to develop a safe, quality, and cost-effective solutions. The candidate is responsible for the development of Commissioning Procedures and standards and making regular construction site inspections to review safety, construction, QA/QC, and commissioning process.

The Candidate shall have effective communication skills and reports regularly on construction Progress, QA/QC, Commissioning progress, Issues, and KPI metrics to management. The candidate shall manage Cx meetings and Cx activities of vendor project managers including integration of lessons learned. The Candidate is accountable for developing, managing, and reporting on safety, scope, schedule, and budget of the Commissioning Process.

Skills and Qualifications:

- The ideal candidate will be an experienced Commissioning Agent and/or Design/Construction/Operations with expertise in data center commissioning.
- The Candidate would be able to manage multiple commissioning projects at a time.



A team player able to work in a multi-disciplined team Commissioning Client Data Centers globally and possess the skills to work in a fast-paced multi project setting.
- Ideal candidate is knowledgeable in commissioning, power generation, transmission, UPS systems, Chillers, AHU, Electrical and Mechanical monitoring and controls, various cooling systems and other data center equipment.
- Having a firm understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems, and monitoring & control requirements for mission critical applications, sequence of operation requirements and monitoring of all Data Center systems.

Basic Qualifications:

- Must have working rights in base location
- Experienced Commissioning Agent and/or design engineer background
- Project management skills
- Knowledge to develop, write and approve Commissioning plan and Test Scripts
- Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Electrical and mechanical test equipment
- Computer/IT knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project tool, Conference call and Internet skills

Experience Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent industry experience.
- 6+ years’ experience in Data Center Commissioning and Facility Maintenance and/or Operations.

Travel required:

- The candidate may be required to travel within APAC/EMEA region to conduct business meetings and/ortechnical inspections at the factory and construction site, as necessary
