Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Collection Executive role based in Hapur.

The Collection

Executive is responsible for following up with customers on overdue home loan accounts, ensuring timely repayments, and reducing delinquency while maintaining respectful and qualified interactions. Daily activities include making field visits to customers, explaining repayment schedules, negotiating payment plans within company guidelines, and updating collection status in internal systems. The role involves coordinating with branch teams, verifying customer details, preparing basic reports on collection performance, and escalating complex cases to senior team members as needed.

Executive is also expected to promote a positive customer experience, adhere to regulatory and company compliance standards, and support overall portfolio quality for the branch.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain financial information clearly and build trust with diverse customer groups.

Candidates should possess basic numerical and analytical skills to understand repayment schedules, assess overdue accounts, and prepare simple collection reports.

Candidates should possess field operations and customer service skills, including comfort with on-site visits, relationship management, and handling sensitive conversations professionally.

Candidates should possess time management and organizational skills to plan daily routes, prioritize accounts, and maintain accurate documentation of all interactions.

Candidates should possess familiarity with local geography around Hapur and the ability to travel locally for customer visits.

Candidates should possess basic computer skills, including use of spreadsheets, mobile apps, and branch systems for data entry and reporting.

Minimum qualification: Higher secondary (12th pass); a graduate degree in commerce, finance, or a related field is an advantage.

Prior experience in collections, microfinance, housing finance, or retail lending is preferred; exposure to low-income or rural customer segments is an added benefit.
