CockroachDB Database Administrator (DBA)

Experience: 4 to 8 Years

Location: Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Kochi

We are looking for a CockroachDB DBA with experience in managing, monitoring, and optimizing CockroachDB clusters in production environments. The candidate should have expertise in database administration, high availability, disaster recovery, performance tuning, and automation.

Must-Have Skills

- Hands-on experience with CockroachDB administration.
- Experience managing multi-region production clusters.
- Robust knowledge of high availability, replication, backup & recovery.
- Experience in performance tuning, SQL optimization, and capacity planning.
- Troubleshooting database issues such as node failures, replication lag, hotspotting, and latency.




- Experience with cluster monitoring and observability tools.
- Knowledge of Linux, networking, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Scripting skills using Shell or Python.
- Experience with automation, upgrades, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain CockroachDB clusters.
- Ensure database availability, scalability, and performance.
- Perform backup, restore, upgrades, and disaster recovery activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize database performance.
