This is not a traditional Product Designer role.

As a founding team member, you will define how users interact with our products—from their first visit to becoming long-term customers.

You will work closely with the Founder and AI Software Engineering Co-Founder to shape the product roadmap, validate ideas with users, and create seamless experiences that make solar simple and accessible.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product experience.

Define product vision and roadmap alongside the founding team.

Conduct customer interviews and user research.

Design intuitive user journeys for homeowners, businesses, installers, and manufacturers.

Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs.

Build and maintain a scalable design system.

Improve user onboarding, engagement, and conversion.

Translate complex solar and AI workflows into straightforward user experiences.

Collaborate closely with engineering to deliver high-quality products.

Use customer feedback and analytics to continuously improve the product.

Must Have qualifications

Proven experience designing digital products with an exceptional focus on user experience.

Strong portfolio demonstrating web and mobile product design.

Proficiency in Figma or similar UI/UX design tools.





Experience creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.

Strong understanding of product thinking and customer-centric design.

Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building products from the ground up.

Must be located within commuting distance of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Preferred qualifications:

Experience in B2B SaaS, AI, marketplaces, or technology startups.

Experience conducting user research and usability testing.

Knowledge of design systems and accessibility best practices.

Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Hotjar, Google Analytics, or Microsoft Clarity.

Experience collaborating with software engineering teams in Agile environments.

Basic understanding of AI-powered applications and conversational interfaces.
