Key Responsibilities

- Machine Setup and Operation

- Set up CNC SEDM machines according to engineering drawings and job specifications.

- Load and align workpieces and electrodes correctly.

- Input and verify machining programs and parameters.

- Operate CNC SEDM equipment safely and efficiently.

- Programming and Process Control

- Edit and optimize CNC programs when required.

- Select appropriate machining parameters such as spark gap, current, voltage, and machining cycles.

- Monitor machining processes to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirements.

- Quality Inspection

- Check finished components using measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges, and CMMs.

- Verify dimensions and tolerances against engineering drawings.

- Record and report inspection results.

- Electrode Management

- Prepare, inspect, and maintain graphite or copper electrodes.

- Ensure proper electrode alignment and wear compensation.

- Replace electrodes as needed during machining operations.

- Machine Maintenance

- Perform daily machine checks and preventive maintenance.

- Monitor dielectric fluid levels, filters, and machine performance.

- Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams.





- Reading Technical Documents

- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T; requirements, process sheets, and work instructions.

- Follow customer and quality specifications during production.

- Safety and Compliance

- Follow company safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area according to 5S standards.

- Comply with quality, environmental, and workplace safety regulations.

- Production Support

- Meet production schedules and delivery targets.

- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.

- Collaborate with engineers, toolmakers, and quality personnel to improve processes.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of CNC SEDM machine operation and EDM principles.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.;

- Experience with precision measuring instruments.

- Basic CNC programming and troubleshooting skills.

- Strong attention to detail and quality awareness.

- Positive problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
