About The Role We are seeking an experienced AI and Cloud Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. In this pivotal role, you will provide Level 2 (L2) operational support for our AI security detection infrastructure, focusing on triaging and investigating AI-specific security detections originating from runtime defense mechanisms, behavioral monitoring, model security, and adversarial testing platforms. Your expertise will help translate telemetry data into actionable insights through advanced data analytics, supporting continuous risk assessment and compliance reporting.

You will work closely with senior security architects, escalate complex issues to Level 3 (L3) engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, IT, and application development. The role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of AI security, ensuring the safety and integrity of our cloud environments across Azure, AWS, and GCP platforms.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in cybersecurity operations, with experience in monitoring, triage, and investigation within security operations centers (SOCs). A solid understanding of data analytics, scripting (PowerShell and/or Python), and dashboard/report creation is essential. Familiarity with AI/GenAI security risks such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, data leakage,



and adversarial attacks is highly desirable.

Candidates should have working knowledge of cloud security principles across at least one major cloud provider—Azure, AWS, or GCP—with multi-cloud experience preferred. Relevant certifications like CompTIA Security+, CySA+, SC-200, SC-900, AZ-500, or cloud security credentials enhance your profile. A bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience is required.

Strong communication skills, analytical rigor, and attention to detail are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities Provide Level 2 coverage of the AI security toolset, monitoring detections across runtime defense, behavioral anomalies, model-level signals, and adversarial testing. Validate detections, classify severity, recommend policy updates, and escalate complex cases to Level 3 engineers with comprehensive context.

Investigate AI-specific security events across various AI archetypes, including embedded SaaS copilots, low-code/no-code agents, custom pipelines, device-based coding agents, and custom models. Detect and analyze threats such as prompt injections, jailbreaks, sensitive data leaks, RAG poisoning, unauthorized activities, agent hijacking, and rogue behaviors using logs, decision traces, and agent inventories.

Support the AI asset intelligence layer by maintaining accurate agent inventories, ownership attribution, MCP registry integrity, and risk-scoring data to inform runtime enforcement and approval workflows.

Utilize data analytics tools, primarily KQL and SQL, to query security telemetry, identify attack patterns, and develop dashboards tracking key metrics such as detection volumes, containment rates, mean times to detect and resolve, and policy violations.



Provide insights and tuning recommendations to improve detection efficacy.

Generate operational, compliance, and risk reports through dashboards and executive summaries, communicating the AI security posture, KPIs, and trends to stakeholders. Support automated compliance evidence collection, including NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act documentation.

Maintain detailed case documentation, shift notes, and contribute to detection rule tuning, runbook updates, and continuous improvement initiatives based on findings from red-team exercises and incident responses.

Develop expertise in OWASP Top 10 for LLM and agentic applications, as well as MITRE ATLAS, to standardize investigation and response workflows.

Monitor and triage cloud security alerts from CSPM platforms across Azure, AWS, and GCP, addressing misconfigurations, security risks, exposed resources, excessive permissions, and workload threats according to established playbooks.

Assist in cloud compliance monitoring, supporting remediation efforts aligned with CIS Benchmarks, NIST 800-53 r5, and CSF 2.0 standards. Collaborate with L3 engineers on policy updates and cloud posture management.

Support vulnerability assessments of cloud workloads, including VMs, containers, and images, as well as security signals from Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Partner with incident response teams across cloud, identity, and endpoint domains to enrich investigations.
