We are seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to design, build, automate, and support enterprise cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure. This role is responsible for cloud architecture, Kubernetes platform engineering, infrastructure automation, DevOps enablement, security, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

- Cloud Platform Engineering
- Design, deploy, and support enterprise-grade Azure infrastructure and cloud-native solutions.
- Build secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud environments.
- Implement cloud governance, networking, identity, and security best practices.
- Drive platform modernization initiatives and cloud adoption strategies.
- Kubernetes & Container Platforms
- Design, implement, and manage production Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments.
- Support containerized applications and microservices architectures.
- Manage cluster lifecycle activities including scaling, upgrades, security, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Establish Kubernetes operational standards and best practices.
- Automation & Infrastructure as Code
- Develop automation solutions using Python, Azure SDKs, and APIs.
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Create reusable automation frameworks, modules, and deployment standards.
- Improve efficiency through automation of provisioning, monitoring, compliance, and operational processes.
- DevOps & Operations




- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Implement DevSecOps controls and deployment automation.
- Support platform reliability, monitoring, observability, and incident response.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and security teams to improve delivery processes and operational performance.
- Security & Governance
- Implement cloud security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Support vulnerability remediation, access management, and security reviews.
- Promote Zero Trust principles and secure-by-design practices across cloud platforms.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of IT experience.
- 4+ years of Azure cloud engineering experience.
- 3+ years of AKS/Kubernetes administration experience.
- Strong expertise in Azure architecture and cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Advanced Python scripting and automation skills.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting experience.
- Solid communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Azure certifications (Administrator, Architect, DevOps Engineer, or Security certifications).
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale cloud platforms.
- Experience with GitOps methodologies and container platform operations.
- Experience implementing cloud security and governance frameworks.
