Role Description The Cloud Architect at BETA will design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures to support business applications and services. This full time on-site role, based in Tiruvallur, involves collaborating with software development and infrastructure teams to define cloud strategies, select appropriate services, and ensure seamless integration of systems.

The Cloud

Architect will evaluate existing environments, recommend improvements, and create technical documentation and diagrams for proposed architectures. Daily responsibilities include overseeing deployment and configuration, optimizing performance and cost, monitoring cloud environments, and ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards. The role also involves guiding stakeholders on best practices,



mentoring team members, and supporting ongoing digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

- Ability to design and implement robust cloud solutions using Solution Architecture and Architecture skills.
- Experience working with Infrastructure components, including networks, storage, security, and compute resources in cloud and hybrid environments.
- Background in Software Development, with the capability to collaborate closely with engineering teams on cloud-native and microservices-based applications.
- Strong Integration skills to connect applications, data sources, and services across on-premises and cloud ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of security best practices, identity and access management, and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) is highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
