Role Description: Pwaves is looking to engage a Climate Risk Specialist who is passionate about translating climate risks into practical business insights.

We are seeking professionals with 3–8 years of hands-on experience in climate risk and impact assessment who are looking to work on challenging and meaningful climate risk assignments.





The selected qualified will contribute to the delivery of climate risk assignment aligned with TCFD/IFRS requirements and the development of climate risk assessment methodologies and analytical frameworks.

The role will involve:

· Physical climate risk assessment

· Climate impact assessment

· Climate vulnerability and resilience assessment

· Development of impact methodologies and analytical frameworks

· Transition risk assessment relevant to operational and business-relevant outcomes

Qualifications

Applicants should preferably possess a Master's degree in any of the Engineering Streams/Environmental Science/Climate Science/ Disaster Management.

Experience

We are particularly interested in professionals with experience in one or more of the following: Physical Climate Risk Assessment, Transition Risk Assessment, Climate Impact Assessment, Climate Adaptation Planning and Climate Scenario Analysis (IPCC, SSPs, NGFS or similar frameworks). Experience shall carry more weight than qualifications.
