Role Description The Civil Structural Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. The engineer will be responsible for performing structural design and analysis for industrial, commercial, and residential projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, safety standards, and client specifications. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed drawings and models using CAD tools, developing design calculations, coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, and supporting project engineers and managers throughout the design lifecycle.





The role involves reviewing and updating design documents, participating in design reviews, resolving technical issues during construction, and collaborating closely with clients to clarify requirements and provide design solutions. The engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement of design practices and support proposal and tender documentation when required.

Qualifications - Candidates should possess solid knowledge and hands-on experience in Structural Engineering and Structural Analysis.

- Candidates should possess solid foundations in Civil Engineering, including understanding of relevant codes, materials, and construction practices.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and AutoCAD for preparing structural drawings and models.
- Structural Engineering (master's degree).
- Experience in designing structures for industrial, commercial, or residential projects, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and standards, and to produce clear, accurate documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills, with attention to detail and safety considerations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams and interact with clients.
- Familiarity with structural design software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS or similar) is beneficial.
- Commitment to professional ethics, continuous learning, and quality-oriented work practices.
