Role Description The Civil Engineer or Supervisor role is a full-time, in office position based in Haridwar. The role involves overseeing day-to-day construction activities, including monitoring site work, coordinating with workers and subcontractors, and ensuring that civil and fabrication tasks follow approved plans and specifications. The individual will review drawings, plan work sequences, track material usage, and support project scheduling to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Responsibilities include maintaining safety practices, resolving site issues, reporting progress to management or clients, and assisting with basic documentation such as work logs and measurements.
The role requires close collaboration with engineers, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth execution of projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Planning and project coordination to organize site activities and manage timelines effectively.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Stormwater Management and related civil works to support infrastructure and drainage projects.
- Candidates should have experience working as Civil Engineers or in a supervisory role on construction sites.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to read construction drawings, perform basic measurements, and prepare simple reports.
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and compliance with local regulations.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills for coordinating with site staff and stakeholders.
- Previous experience in civil work and fabrication projects in Haridwar or nearby regions is an advantage.
