Position Overview Maison No.3 is seeking a Motion Architect to define how our brands are experienced through moving image.

This role is not centred on operating cameras alone. It is about understanding emotion before equipment, narrative before technology, and intention before execution.

The successful candidate will be responsible for translating brand strategy into cinematic experiences across digital campaigns, brand films, product launches, documentaries, editorials, social media, and commercial productions.

From the first storyboard to the final colour grade, every decision should strengthen the identity of the brand and elevate the standards of the House.

Success in This Role Success in this role is measured not by the number of videos produced, but by the quality of stories told. The ideal Motion Architect understands that every frame communicates something.

Every movement creates emotion. Every light source shapes perception. Every edit influences memory.

Areas of Responsibility

Visual Storytelling Develop cinematic narratives that communicate the identity, philosophy, and commercial objectives of each brand. Translate abstract ideas into emotionally engaging visual experiences. Contribute creative concepts during campaign development and pre-production discussions.

Every production should reflect the visual standards of Maison No.3.

Lighting & Art Direction Work closely with photographers, designers, stylists, and creative teams to establish lighting environments that support the desired emotional tone.

Recommend production design improvements where appropriate.

Colour & Post Production Collaborate with editors and post-production teams to ensure:

Colour Consistency

Narrative Flow

Visual Quality

Sound Synchronisation

Delivery Standards

Basic editing and colour grading capability will be considered an advantage.

Equipment Management Maintain and operate professional production equipment responsibly.

Recommend future equipment purchases where necessary.

Ensure production assets are organised and archived systematically.

Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate closely with:

Public Relations Architects

Interface Architects to ensure visual communication remains strategically aligned across every platform.

Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media, Cinematography, Visual Arts, or a related discipline (preferred).

Minimum 2–5 years of professional experience in cinematography or commercial filmmaking.

Solid understanding of visual storytelling, composition, camera systems, lighting, and production workflows.

Demonstrated experience creating commercial or editorial content for premium, luxury, fashion, jewellery, hospitality, lifestyle, or design-led brands.

Ability to independently manage productions from concept through execution.
