Applied Advanced Green Materials (AAGM) is building MaterialsIQ, an AI-native materials intelligence operating system designed for green manufacturing. The platform addresses challenges such as poor material quality, unverified suppliers, fragmented supply-chain data, and limited visibility between material inputs and product outcomes, helping manufacturers reduce yield loss, compliance risk, and waste. MaterialsIQ integrates materials data, supplier quality, and product performance into a single trusted intelligence layer, using federated learning, blockchain-based data governance, and deep manufacturing expertise.

Headquartered in Singapore, AAGM serves the solar, battery, semiconductor, and advanced manufacturing ecosystems, with core technology developed in collaboration with Nanyang Technological University (NTU). The company’s vision is to become the trusted intelligence layer for global green-materials supply chains.

Role:

This is not a support role. As Chief of Staff you will be the CEO's operating counterpart in India, where our customers are, and you will own outcomes rather than calendars.

India is where AAGM's commercial future is decided over the next eighteen months. Our pipeline is Indian, our manufacturing relationships are Indian, and our founder is in Singapore. We need someone on the ground who can walk into a module factory in Surat or Hyderabad, understand what the plant manager is worried about, and convert that into a platform relationship.

You will move between commercial execution, investor and board work, and building the operating infrastructure of a company that does not yet have one. The mix will shift as we grow. Expect ambiguity

What You Will Own:

Commercial execution and pipeline conversion





- Drive conversion of our 25-manufacturer pipeline from supply relationships into live platform customers
- Own the relationship cadence with Indian module manufacturers — site visits, onboarding, and account expansion
- Work with plant and quality teams to identify where material data connects to yield outcomes, and translate that into product requirements
- Build the commercial playbook that lets us repeat this across Southeast Asia

Fundraise and investor operations

- Maintain the dataroom, investor updates, and diligence responses through the seed close
- Prepare board materials, track metrics, and keep the reporting cadence honest and current
- Support competition applications, grant submissions, and partnership proposals

Building the operating layer

- Stand up the India entity, hiring, vendor relationships, and compliance infrastructure
- Own recruiting for early India hires across commercial and customer success
- Design the internal systems — CRM, reporting, documentation — that a company of ten people needs and a company of three has been getting away without

Wherever the gap is

- Take on whatever is most broken or most urgent in any given month, and fix it well enough that someone else can run it afterwards

Who We are Looking For:

- 5–10 years of experience, ideally spanning consulting, investment banking,



or a strategy or operating role at a high-growth startup
- Comfortable in industrial environments — you should be willing to spend time on factory floors, not only in meeting rooms
- Solid written communication; much of this role is producing documents that persuade investors, partners, and customers
- Analytical rigour with financial models, metrics, and operating data
- Based in or willing to relocate to Gurgaon, with readiness to travel across India roughly 30–40% of the time
- High tolerance for ambiguity, and the judgement to decide what matters without being told

Helpful but not required

- Exposure to solar, battery, or advanced manufacturing supply chains
- Experience supporting a fundraise from the company side
- Working proficiency in Hindi or Gujarati for factory-floor relationships
