About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the finance function of our diamond manufacturing and trading business. This role is ideal for a finance professional ready to take on broader responsibilities in a growing, established organization. The CFO will work closely with the management team to oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Leadership

· Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy aligned with business objectives.

· Partner with the Directors on strategic initiatives, expansion, plans, and investment decisions.

· Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.

· Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning.

Financial Management

· Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

· Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

· Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation.

· Drive cost optimization initiatives across the organization.

· Establish and maintain robust internal financial controls.

Treasury & Banking

· Manage banking relationships and negotiate working capital facilities, trade finance and term loans.

· Oversee foreign exchange exposure, hedging strategies, and international payment mechanisms.





· Optimize working capital through effective receivables, payables, and inventory management.

Taxation & Compliance

· Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations.

· Oversee statutory audits, internal audits, and regulatory reporting.

· Ensure compliance with all applicable financial, corporate and export regulations.

· Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers and regulatory authorities.

Risk Management

· Develop and implement enterprise risk management frameworks.

· Identify financial, operational, and market risks and commend mitigation strategies.

· Strengthen governance and internal control systems.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- 10+ years of post-qualification experience in finance and accounting, 2-3 years of experience in a senior leadership role.
- Experience in manufacturing, trading, or the diamond/gems & jewellery industry is preferred.
- Robust understanding of financial reporting, taxation, audits, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Good analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
