Chief Finance Officer
Role & responsibilities :
1. The Chief Finance Officer (CFO) will be responsible for leading the financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and risk management functions of the organization.
2. The CFO will ensure financial compliance, monitor capital and operational expenditures, and oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports and statements in line with statutory regulations.
3. Leading audits, liaise with external agencies (auditors, banks, regulatory bodies), and ensure adherence to accounting standards and applicable laws.
4. The CFO will guide investment strategies, optimize fund management, and ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the organization.
5. Supervise accounting, procurement, and finance teams, and support senior management in decision-making with timely financial insights.
6. Develop internal controls and financial systems to mitigate risks, improve accuracy, and increase transparency.
7. Support grant management, donor reporting, and ensure appropriate fund utilization as per donor guidelines (where applicable).
8. Work collaboratively with other departments to align financial planning with organizational goals and operational efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Chartered Accountant (CA),
Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), or MBA/PGDM in Finance from a recognized institute.
2. Minimum 15-20 years of progressive experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in mid to large-scale organizations, with at least 5 years in a senior financial management capacity.
3. Sound knowledge in financial strategy, planning, budgeting, Fund flow management, financial forecasting, cash flow planning and risk analysis.
4. Knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other financial regulations, ERP systems (such as SAP/Tally/MS Dynamics) and proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Internal audits, external audits, and statutory reporting.
5. Skills Required are Robust leadership, analytical, and decision-making capabilities, Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high degree of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability and the ability to manage cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
6. Willingness to travel occasionally as required for audits, reviews, or stakeholder engagements.
7. Up to 50 years (relaxable for exceptional candidates based on experience and expertise)
