Position: Chess Coach

Key Responsibilities

Plan and conduct chess coaching sessions for students of different age groups.

Teach chess fundamentals, strategies, tactics, and advanced concepts.

Prepare students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level tournaments.

Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback.

Organize chess competitions and practice matches within the school.

Maintain attendance, performance records, and training plans.

Foster discipline, sportsmanship, and critical thinking among students.

Qualifications

Graduation in any discipline.

Strong knowledge of chess rules, strategies, and tournament formats.

Experience in coaching school students is preferred.

FIDE rating or chess certification will be an added advantage.

Positive communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Passionate about teaching chess and mentoring young learners.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Patient, motivating, and organized.

Ability to prepare students for competitive tournaments.
