About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Junior CCTV Technician to join our IT hardware and services technical team. This role is perfect for someone with foundational experience (6 to 12 months) who is eager to build a long-term career in security systems. You will work alongside our senior technicians to assist with the installation, basic configuration, and maintenance of video surveillance systems for our corporate, retail, and commercial clients.

You will ensure that cameras are mounted securely, cables are neatly managed, and client premises are protected.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation & Deployment: Assist in mounting cameras, running and terminating cables (Cat6/Coaxial), and securely installing DVR/NVR hardware under standard guidelines.
- System Configuration: Help set up basic local networks for IP cameras, connect PoE switches, and assist senior technicians with IP allocation and remote viewing setups (mobile devices/laptops).
- Site Survey & Planning: Shadow senior technicians during client site visits to learn how to assess security requirements, determine optimal camera placements, and estimate hardware needs.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting:



Perform routine service calls and basic AMC visits to resolve standard issues such as loose connections, basic video loss, and camera repositioning.
- Client Handover: Demonstrate basic software usage to clients, showing them how to view live feeds and playback footage.
- Inventory Management: Help keep track of tools, cables, connectors, and spare parts required for daily field operations, ensuring the field kit is always stocked.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in basic CCTV installation, cabling, and servicing.
- Education: ITI certification, Diploma in Electronics/Networking, or a high school equivalent with relevant basic technical training.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IP and Analog camera systems, NVRs/DVRs, and major brands (such as Hikvision, CP Plus, Prama, etc.). A basic, introductory understanding of LAN networking is a plus.
- Eagerness to Learn: A solid willingness to learn advanced networking, port forwarding, and complex troubleshooting on the job.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
