About the Role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial Category Head / Category & Growth Lead to build and scale the skincare category for a quick-growing D2C consumer brand. This role offers end-to-end ownership of the category, including product strategy, innovation, launches, storytelling, P&L; management, and business growth.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience launching successful skincare products and possess strong commercial acumen, consumer understanding, and product development expertise.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the complete skincare category strategy and roadmap.
- Identify new product opportunities based on consumer insights, market trends, and scientific innovation.
- Lead product development from concept to market launch.
- Collaborate with R&D;, Packaging, Sourcing, Regulatory, Marketing, and Growth teams.
- Develop compelling product positioning, storytelling, and launch strategies.
- Own category P&L; and growth targets.




- Analyze product performance and optimize the product portfolio.
- Translate ingredient science into simple, consumer-friendly communication.
- Drive revenue growth, repeat purchases, cross-selling, and category expansion.

Mandatory Requirements

- 4-10 years of experience in skincare, beauty, personal care, cosmetics, or FMCG.
- Experience launching multiple skincare or beauty products.
- Strong understanding of skincare formulations and ingredient science.
- Experience owning category growth and commercial performance.
- Strong analytical, business, and commercial acumen.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Passion for skincare, beauty innovation, and consumer trends.
